DanceWorks Kenora is excited to be presenting our 2023 Year-End Recital on May 6, 2023 at the Beaver Brae Theatre. This year we are having 3 shows, the morning show is for our youngest performers in Creative Movement level classes plus guest performances, while the matinee and evening are the same show performed twice and will include all Dance Foundations to Senior level classes.
- Creative Movement Show – 10:30 am
- Dance Foundations to Senior Matinee Show – 1:30 pm
- Dance Foundations to Senior Evening Show – 6:30 pm
Tickets are general admission and can be purchased online through our ticketing site. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Children under age 1 do not require a ticket but need to be seated on their caregiver’s lap for the show.
Each family will receive a priority code, sent to the primary account contact, that allows for the purchase of up to 3 tickets per dancer. Priority access will be active from Tuesday, April 18 at noon until Monday, April 24 at noon. It is strongly recommended that dance families take advantage of priority online sales. There is no guarantee of tickets being available at the door.
Open ticket sales for unclaimed priority tickets and any remaining tickets will begin on April 24 at noon and run until Friday, May 5 at midnight on a first come, first served basis. Tickets at the door (cash only) as available.
Volunteers Needed
We are still looking to fill a number of volunteer positions for dress rehearsal and each of the 3 shows. These positions are required in order to make these events run smoothly and safely for everyone.
Interested in volunteering but worried about missing your dancer’s performance? If you are volunteering as a backstage supervisor, you are able to watch your dancer perform from the wings (side of the stage).
