A few more studio news items as we wrap up this season and get ready for summer and next year.

Audition / Assessment Classes Happening in June

Interested in attending extra training, events, and having more performance opportunities? We’re making some adjustments to our competitive program and are looking to get a sense of the ages, levels, and styles that would be the best fit for our enriched training program for the 2026-2027 season. If your dancer (and your family) might be interested in making an additional commitment and taking their dancing to another level please come out to one or more of our audition / assessment classes happening in June.

  • Monday, June 1 – 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm – Age 7 to 11 Theatre Jazz
  • Tuesday, June 2 – 5:20 pm to 6:20 pm – Age 12 + Contemporary Ballet
  • Monday, June 8 – 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm – Age 12+ Lyrical
  • Tuesday, June 9 – 5:20 pm to 6:20 pm – Age 7 to 11 Lyrical
  • Monday, June 15 – 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm – Age 12+ Hip Hop
  • Tuesday, June 16 – 5:20 pm to 6:20 pm – Age 7 to 11 Ballet
  • Monday, June 22 – 4:15 pm to 5:15 pm – Age 12+ Theatre Jazz
  • Tuesday, June 23 – 5:20 pm to 6:20 pm – Age 7 to 11 Hip Hop

Summer camps have spots available, come dance with us in July and August.

Summer camps include dance technique as well as art and other creative activities. No previous experience is required and there are no dress code requirements for the summer. Register online at danceworkskenora.com/summer-camps/

Note: We’re hoping to meet the minimum numbers to make the “All Around Intensive” camp work this summer. If your dancer is interested in 3 days in the studio and 2 days at SOL Convention in Winnipeg please enroll for that camp by no later than June 5.

Recital video is available for download until June 30

The link to access the 2026 Recital video downloads was sent to the primary account holders earlier this week. Don’t have it? Let the studio know at info@danceworkskenora.com and we’ll make sure you get access.

Current classes continue until June 19 but we’re already planning for the 2026-2027 season…

We hope to have everything finalized to open priority registration by mid-July. When the schedule is ready we will also have class placements available for all dancers. Class placement recommendations are made based on each dancer’s technical level, maturity, and commitment while also factoring in expected class sizes and overall group cohesiveness. When registration opens you will find class placement information posted in your portal account.
