Hi DWK dance families,

Here are a few important reminders as we head into the final part of our season.

Summer Camps & Spring Mini-Session

Registration is now open for our 2026 summer camps and for new dancers to join existing full year classes for the end of our dance year with a 5 week spring mini-session. Know someone that is curious about dance? Spring and summer are the perfect time to try class for the first time or to explore a new style. There are options for different ages and levels. Take a look at the schedule and register today.

Festival Wrap-up

To all of our classes that participated in the Kenora Festival of the Arts – congrats! We hope you are proud of the work you have done so far and feel good about your performances this past weekend. We loved seeing how you supported one another backstage and how you handled performance nerves and energy to put your best foot forward for each performance. Now we will take the adjudicator feedback and work to make our routines even better for Recital in May.

Thank you families for your effort to get your dancer ready and there at the right times and for being an encouraging audience. And a big thank you to the teachers and the volunteers that helped keep everyone on track throughout the long day. We appreciate you!!

Routines that are selected for the Festival HiLites show on Saturday, April 25 will be notified in the next few days to determine dancer availability and ability to perform at Knox.

RWB “On the Edge” Tour – Friday, April 24

The RWB’s “On the Edge Tour” shows are coming up in just 10 days! This is an exciting opportunity for members of our community to experience ballet up close and learn about the athletic and artistic development of a professional dancer.
