DanceWorks Kenora is excited to be presenting our 2024 Year-End Recital on May 11, 2024 at the Beaver Brae Theatre.
This year, to provide enough audience capacity, we are running two different recitals (each with two showtimes). Please pay extra attention when reviewing schedules and buying tickets.
Tickets are general admission and can be purchased online through our ticketing site. Doors open 20 minutes before showtime. Children under age 1 do not require a ticket but need to be seated on their caregiver’s lap for the show.
- Creative Movement & Dance Foundations Show – 10:00 am & 11:00 am
- Primary to Senior Show – 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm
Each family will receive a priority code, sent to the primary account contact, that allows for the purchase of up to 4 tickets per dancer. Priority access will be active from Tuesday, April 30 at noon until Saturday, May 4 at noon. It is strongly recommended that dance families take advantage of priority online sales as it is common for these events to sell out. There is no guarantee of tickets being available at the door.
Open ticket sales for unclaimed priority tickets and any remaining tickets will begin on May 4 at noon and run until Friday, May 10 at midnight on a first come, first served basis. Tickets at the door (cash only) as available.
Volunteers Needed
We are still looking to fill a number of volunteer positions for dress rehearsals and each of the shows. These positions are required in order to make these events run smoothly and safely for everyone.
Interested in volunteering but worried about missing your dancer’s performance? If you are volunteering as a backstage supervisor, you are able to watch your dancer perform from the wings (side of the stage).
