It’s time to dance! All classes start this week. We hope you had a good holiday and we can’t wait to kick off 2017 in the studio.
Year-End Recital Poll
The DanceWorks Kenora studio is growing every year and we want to make sure that everyone who wants to is able to attend our 2017 year-end recital. Please take a moment to answer a few short questions to help us to estimate recital ticket sales and determine if a second show is needed for our recital this year.

It’s not too late to register for Winter/Spring session classes
You can still register for Winter/Spring classes including Creative Movement (limited spots), Junior/Senior Hip Hop, Adult Hip Hop, Adult Ballet, Adult Tap, and Adult Jazz as well as Gentle Jazz & Tap and Pilates mini-sessions.
Curious about hip hop or any of the adult classes? You can try a class for free during the first two weeks of classes. Simply register as a “trial” in order to provide your information and complete the waivers. Visit danceworkskenora.com/registration to enroll or to register as a trial.
Choreography & Attendance
Classes will soon begin to learn their performance choreography for the Kenora Festival of the Arts and/or Recital. Regular attendance becomes even more important, to your dancer and the class as a whole, once we begin learning choreography. If you know your dancer(s) will be missing class please notify Erin at info@danceworkskenora.com or by texting 807-464-3666.
Please mark the following dates on your calendars. There will be no regular classes at the studio on both of these days. If you know your dancer will not be available for one or both of these performance dates please let Erin know as soon as possible as it will impact class choreography.
Saturday, April 22 – Kenora Festival of the Arts – Dance Component
Saturday, June 3 – DanceWorks Kenora Year-End Recital
January Payments
A reminder to those paying by cash or cheque that January payments are due at the first week of classes. Monthly payments require either a credit card on file or post-dated cheques. Statements will soon be sent via e-mail to anyone with payments due for any of the 2016-2017 season. If you have selected credit card payment or have provided post-dated cheques your remaining tuition fees will be paid automatically. Remember that you can check your payments and fees at any time through the DanceWorks Kenora member portal.
