DanceWorks Kenora is excited to be presenting our 2025 Recital on May 10, 2025 at the Beaver Brae Theatre.
This year, to provide enough audience capacity, we are once again running two different recitals. Please pay extra attention when reviewing schedules and buying tickets.
Tickets are general admission and will be available to purchase through our online ticketing site. Doors open 30 minutes before showtime. Children under age 1 do not require a ticket but need to be seated on their caregiver’s lap for the show.
2025 Recital – Saturday, May 10, 2025
- Creative Movement & Dance Foundations Show – 11:00 am
- A limited number of tickets will also be sold for the dress rehearsal in order to accommodate expected demand. We are trying this format this year rather than having a second show for our youngest dancers.
- Primary to Senior Show – 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm
- All dancers at this level perform in both the matinee and evening performances.
Priority access will be active from Tuesday, April 29 at 12:30 pm until Saturday, May 3 at 12:30 pm.
- Each family will receive a priority code, sent to the primary account contact, that allows for the purchase of up to 3 tickets (or 5 tickets for families with multiple dancers).
- Capacity is limited in the theatre and these performances typically sell-out. Our priority ticketing is set up to ensure each dance family has the opportunity to purchase tickets and see their dancer perform.
- Note: Accounts with a past due balance that have not already made payment arrangements with the studio will not be provided with a priority code for tickets.
Open ticket sales for unclaimed priority tickets and any remaining tickets will begin on May 3 at noon and run until showtime on a first come, first served basis. Tickets at the door (cash only) as available.
Volunteers Needed
We are still looking to fill a number of volunteer positions for dress rehearsals and each of the shows. These positions are required in order to make these events run smoothly and safely for everyone.
Interested in volunteering but worried about missing your dancer’s performance? If you are volunteering as a backstage supervisor, you are able to watch your dancer perform from the wings (side of the stage).
